Uniform

Through the opportunity provided in the Corporate Work Study Program, students learn how to be a true professional. Cristo Rey’s uniform policy adheres to a business formal dress during workdays and semi-formal dress on school days, regardless of learning modality. All students are required to dress in a manner that promotes professionalism. Specific descriptions on attire are provided below. Students that are not compliant with the dress code policy will receive a consequence as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.

 

School Dress Code

 

The school dress code consists of a student wearing any combination of the school-issued garments, black or brown dress shoes, and a belt.

Upper Garments

The school uniform includes school issued Cristo Rey polos. Shirts must be buttoned all the way up and kept always tucked in.  School issued sport coat, cardigan or sweater may be worn as desired by students.

 Lower Garments

The school uniform includes full length blue dress pants. Pants must be worn at waist length with a belt. No oversized or tight pants are permitted. 

 

 

CWSP Dress Code

The workday uniform consists of oxford shirt, necktie, blazer, full length pants, black or brown dress shoes, and a belt.

Upper Garments

The CWSP uniform includes school issued long-sleeved oxford shirt and blazer. Shirts must be buttoned all the way up and kept always tucked in.   

Lower Garments

The CWSP uniform includes full length khaki colored dress pants. Pants must be worn at waist length with a belt. No oversized or tight pants are permitted. 

Shoes

Shoes should be solid black or brown in color, be of leather or similar in appearance, and appropriate for business or semi-formal dress environments. Any heeled shoe should be moderate in height. Gym shoes will not be allowed.

Accessories

Belts

Students are required to wear black or brown belts with pants.

Jewelry & Tattoos

Earrings are not permitted for young men. Facial/visible piercings, tattoos, or other body modifications are prohibited. Other jewelry including bracelets, necklaces and rings should be kept to a minimum.

Make-Up and Nails

Make-up and nails must in conservative colors and styles. Nails must be kept at a short, professional length.

Hair

Students must always maintain a professional appearance. All hairstyles and facial hair must be neat, clean, natural colored, brushed/combed. Graphics, line designs, and shaved eyebrows are not allowed.
