Student Life & Services
Cristo Rey Miami High School aims to develop well-rounded young men and women. The core values of Faith, Purpose, and Service are embedded into our school’s culture. Our students, faculty, and staff will practice these values as individuals, as peers, and together as a community.
It is through these values that the Cristo Rey Miami High School will grow together to fulfill our mission and achieve our vision.
Faith
We value and promote the gift of faith. We then are called to develop that gift and share it with the help of God’s Grace.
“Faith is the realization of what is hoped for, and evidence of things not seen.”
-Hebrews 11:1
Purpose
We value finding each person’s purpose for the greater good of our communities and world. Through God and Faith, this sense of purpose will drive all in the Cristo Rey Miami community to impact the world in a positive manner.
“For I know well the plans I have in mind for you—oracle of the Lord—plans for your welfare and not for woe, so as to give you a future of hope.”
-Jeremiah 29:11
Service
We value and promote service for God and neighbor by giving ourselves in service to our family, school, community, and beyond. As a school we realize and develop our God-given talents and gifts to serve others.
“Just as the Son of God did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life for many.”
-Matthew 20:28a
Cristo Rey Miami High School offers the opportunity of a rigorous academic formation that is integrated with relevant corporate work experience and is united through spiritual formation. To ensure success, we hold all members of our community to the highest expectations.
Our school’s culture is embedded in the belief that every student can be successful. We aim to motivate students in developing their academic confidence, strong character, moral development, and to gain the knowledge of key professional skills that will help them become successful in college and beyond.
Collectively, students, families, faculty, and staff are contributors to the vibrant culture of Cristo Rey Miami High School.
