Tahirah is an experienced strategist with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. She has partnered with executives, community leaders, and organizations focusing on innovative strategies that strive for educational equity. Tahirah most recently joined the team at Cristo Rey Miami serving as the Associate Director of the Corporate Work-Study Program (CWSP).
Prior to this role, Tahirah served as Manager for Clinical Education at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing daily operations as well as maintaining and cultivating over 250 partnership agreements with various medical organizations on behalf of the University. She also ran the Visiting Student and International Student program, in which over 3000+ applications were received per year. Concurrently, she served as an MBA consultant for Holy Trinity School, where she developed strategies for diversity and inclusion, and Ashoka Spain, where she developed go-to-market strategies that leveraged the UN’s sustainable development goals.
Her commitment to educational equity began as a Teach For America corps member, teaching 480 high school students in inner-city Miami, and has led to working on educational innovation projects with organizations such as Miami-Dade Public Schools, DC Public Schools, DC Reads, and the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights.
Tahirah received her B.B.A from George Washington University, holds an M.B.A. from the Georgetown McDonough School of Business.
