Cristo Rey Miami High School Hires Founding Director of Admissions

Issac Carter, Ph.D., is a social justice educator, advocate, and scholar who joins Cristo Rey as the Founding Director of Enrollment Management and Community Engagement. During the course of his career, he has led many initiatives to support college access, retention and graduation of low-income, students of color, and other under-represented student populations.

Over the past couple of years, Cristo Rey Miami has been busy behind the scenes with Feasibility Studies, raising friends, funds and most recently, hiring the leadership team. We are grateful for the work of the Founding Board, led by Co-Chairs Rodger Shay and Rudy Cecchi, who have personally committed their time, talent and treasure to bring Cristo Rey Miami High School to where we are now. Seasoned Community Builder Joins Cristo Rey Miami's Leadership Team

MIAMI, FL, May 2019 - In early May, Arlene Peterson accepted the position of Director of Development for Cristo Rey Miami High School. She will bring 20 years of experience in relationship building, fundraising and community engagement to the Founding Leadership Team. Arlene has impacted the South Florida community in her development roles with Chapman Partnership for Homeless, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Mercy Hospital Foundation and United Way of Miami-Dade.
