Cristo Rey Miami High School is seeking a Relationship Coordinator for the Corporate Work Study Program. This is a current opening for a full-time, in-person position. As a Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) team member, this position will interact with students, school personnel, and job partners to execute the transformative Cristo Rey Work Study Program model alongside CWSP staff. Teaching students job skills, managing the relationships between the school and its Job Partners, and assisting in the coordination and operations of the overall program, are the primary duties of this role.

In July 2022, Cristo Rey Miami launched in North Miami and will serve over 400 students by 2025 across 9th-12th grades. About the Position
The Director of Operations and Finance is responsible for the physical plant and functions related to school operations as well as financial administration, long-term financial planning of the school and human resources. S/he works with the Board of Trustees, the President, the Principal, the Director of Development, and the Director of the Corporate Work Study Program in the supervision of all the resources and obligations of the school. Specific responsibilities include:
Human Resources
● Oversee the hiring and onboarding of new staff and faculty.
● Evaluate opportunities for professional development, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, training and recruiting, ensuring confidentiality.
● Ensure that employee acquisition, onboarding and new hire training processes are consistent and effective in meeting the goals of Cristo Rey Miami.
● Update the Employee Handbook and oversee the distribution to all employees; establish and manage a comprehensive training program to educate employees regarding staff tools, policies, and procedures.
● Coordinate with our PEO ADP, employee payroll, including employee benefits, new hires, employee departures, time off, and correlated state and federal reporting, filing, and payment of taxes.
Finance
● Responsible for creating and implementing the financial strategy and structural framework to maximize the use of capital to develop and enhance student programs.
● Oversee annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the President. Review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors abreast of the organization’s financial status. Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
● Oversee organizational cash flow and forecasting; ensure that the operation income, billing, and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
● Oversee the investment strategy, banking relationships, and capital acquisitions.
● Oversee the accounts payable process, including setting up new vendors, ensuring timely payment of invoices, and managing the cash flow process.
● Oversee the billing and collection of Corporate Work Study receivables.

Operations
● Responsible for the physical plant, all maintenance and repairs and issues related to the physical plan, and all capital improvement projects.
● Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all appropriate permits, licenses, inspections, or certifications for the proper functioning of the school in accord with city, state, and federal guidelines.
● Develop and oversee long-range plan to improve the physical plant and serve as the school’s point person with contractors, architects, and others who may be involved in upgrades to the physical plant.
● Oversee records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
● Serve as the school’s representative to all vendors, reviewing and making recommendations on the lease/purchase of equipment. Prepare RFPs as needed to analyze new vendor options.
● Manage the National School Lunch Program including all renewals, filings, certifications, and subsequent reimbursement through government programs.
● Oversee the management of all food services for students & staff
● Annually review the insurance needs of the organization and bind appropriate insurance.

About the Position
The HR Manager works closely with the Director of Finance and senior management to manage the complete Human Resource
process from recruitment through retention to resignations and terminations. In this role, the Human Resources Coordinator
will assist in the implementation of the policies and procedures established by Cristo Rey Miami High School to ensure legal
compliance, adoption of best practices, and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
Recruitment and Enrollment Responsibilities
Administration:
• Assist with the administration of human resource programs, including, but not limited to, compensation,
benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations
• Maintain digital employee files and assure they are up to date
• Create reports on employee information requested by management

Job Description
As a faculty member, this person will contribute to a positive school culture that promotes growth, resilience, accountability, and achievement for all students. This team member will possess an ambitious vision for academic excellence, a belief that all students can graduate from college, an appreciation for systems that support student success, a culturally responsive mindset, and a commitment to collaboration and growth with all stakeholders. As a member of the school’s faculty, this person will be responsible for teaching six sections, provide tutoring supports, and administer office hours to ensure every student is achieving mastery. Additionally, this person will develop annual plans, unit plans, assessments, and curricular resources for the sections taught within their department through collaboration with their subject area peers. Lastly, this person will contribute to the professional and spiritual development of all students.
Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
· Integrates and follows Cristo Rey Network benchmarks, Florida Sunshine State Standards, and College Board standards.
· Plans and executes rigorous, objective-driven, and culturally relevant lessons.
· Plans and executes differentiated instructional methods to meet the needs of all students.
· Utilizes a data-driven instructional approach to plan effective learning experiences for all students.
· Uses technology to enhance learning experience for all students.
· Provides targeted support to students needing additional support.
· Provides students with multiple opportunities for learning.
· Provides students reengagement opportunities.
Classroom Environment and School Culture
· Creates an effective and supportive environment for learning.
· Collaborates with other faculty and staff members to identifies scholar needs.
· Works closely with parents/families in support of students’ academic needs.
· Continuously builds an understanding of each student to build respect and rapport.
· Contributes to the Catholic identity and culture of Cristo Rey Miami.
· Contributes to the school’s college-going culture.
· Contributes to the spiritual and faith formation of Cristo Rey Miami scholars.
Professionalism
· Approaches craft with enthusiasm for professional development.

Qualifications
Highly qualified applicants will demonstrate a commitment to the mission of Cristo Rey Miami through evidence of being contributors to a culture of supportive and effective teams. We seek to hire a candidate who is mission-driven, skilled in their field, involved in the community, and dedicated to the success of all students. In addition, they will meet or exceed the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in academic content area related to position
- Valid and current professional educator license (or demonstrated progress towards obtaining)
- 2+ years of relevant teaching experience
- Record of strong student achievement as a high school and/or middle school teacher
- Demonstrated commitment to Catholic, urban education
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with families and students
- Skilled problem solver who will meet challenges with creative and effective solutions
- Strong ability to track and analyze data to inform decision-making
- Proficiency using technology for instructional purposes
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Kreyòl preferred
- Ability to complete Virtus Training

Salary and Compensation: Cristo Rey Miami has a salary scale that is based on education and experience. Full time employees will be eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, retirement, and other supplementary insurance.
