Cristo Rey Miami High School is part of a national network comprised of 37 Catholic college, and career-preparatory schools in operation across 24 states, transforming the landscape of education in America. We pride ourselves in working with families and communities with limited economic means to provide affordable and high-quality, college-prep education. Cristo Rey high schools integrate four years of academic curricula, four years of professional work experience, and robust support to and through college.
A key component of Cristo Rey schools is the Corporate Work-Study Program (CWSP). The CWSP provides students real career experience with local and national corporate partners while earning part of their tuition. Students work in a variety of fields, including Accounting, Communications, Engineering, Human Resources, Legal, Medical, and Tax Services, and perform a wide range of responsibilities on the job, such as data entry, Spanish-English translation services, and IT support.
Cristo Rey students are three times more likely to complete a college degree by age 24 when compared to their peer group. Network-wide, the college acceptance rate is 98 percent, and 91 percent of students enroll in college. Also, Cristo Rey Graduates are eligible to receive up to 85% of demonstrated financial need at one of our 54 University Partner Schools.
