In early May, Arlene Peterson accepted the position of Director of Development for Cristo Rey Miami High School. She will bring 20 years of experience in relationship building, fundraising and community engagement to the Founding Leadership Team. Arlene has impacted the South Florida community in her development roles with Chapman Partnership for Homeless, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Mercy Hospital Foundation and United Way of Miami-Dade.
After a comprehensive nationwide search for Cristo Rey Miami’s Founding Principal, we are honored to announce the appointment of Mr. Cesar Muñoz to the role. Mr. Muñoz distinguished himself among our diverse and talented applicant pool in a number of key areas of school leadership: instruction, curriculum, academic achievement and school culture. He has a depth of experience working with students of Cristo Rey’s demographic and cares deeply about students’ success.
